Chuck Williamson enjoyed a long career in the oil and gas industry, first as a geoscientist at ExxonMobil and culminating as CEO and Chairman of Unocal which was acquired by Chevron in 2005 where he served as Executive Vice President. Subsequently he has served as the Chairman of Weyerhaeuser (forest products), Talisman Energy (oil and gas), the US-ASEAN Business Council, and the Lead Director at Paccar (truck manufacturer) as well as a director of Greyrock Energy (gas transformation). He obtained his MS degree in geology from Univ. Utah (1972) and PhD from Univ. Texas at Austin (1978). He resides in Sonoma, CA with his wife Cathy where they enjoy gardening and various non-profit activities in wine country.
